Here is Sadie sleeping on the cold, hard windowsill, in between two soft, comfy beds. Go figure.

Goodness! My dogs do the same thing. I won’t understand either.

They really can be strange sometimes – I would be curled up in one of those lovely comfy beds for sure!

Really lol ๐ they do the funniest things sometimes. Ours do that too and when it’s cold, it really makes me wonder why they wouldn’t get in the cozy beds!

Katie’s like that quite a bit. She tends to prefer hard to soft.

Lol I do that too!
I don’t get my dogs either. They do the same thing. Sleeping in front of the drafty door on the hard floor is their favorite napping spot.

You kind of answered your own question there – “cold windowsill.” Dogs often get too hot on the comfiest beds and seek a place to cool down. That might be hardwood floor, tile, or a cold windowsill. Of course, for our guys, the surface of choice is dirt where they can dig themselves a nice cool hole (and ground really does cool I"ll tell you) or Jasmine really loved her cooling bed.
