Thanks for liking us! Sadie and I really appreciate the love!
I am constantly taking new pictures of Sadie, and am always excited to find new ways to display my best photos. One of my recent discoveries is CanvasHQ. I was able to turn one of my Sadie photos into a wall-art quality canvas print. This is an 11×14 canvas print of Sadie and I the day we went to the Cherry Blossom festival. Who knew Sadie and I would look so good on canvas?
The process was actually pretty simple. Everything you need to do to make your canvas print is on one easy page, but there are still many options to customize your canvas. First you upload your photo, pick your canvas size and orientation, and center your photo in line with the printed margins of the canvas. Then you have some custom choices. How thick do you want the canvas to be? Do you want your photo to wrap around the edges of the canvas? One option I liked is the choice of a variety of colors for the sides of the canvas. If you have a specific place you want to hang your canvas, you can pick edges to match color of the room. But this time I went with the traditional photo wrap option. You can also decide if you want your canvas glossy or matte, and if you want filters like black and white or sepia applied to your photo. Then you can name your canvas. This name will be placed on the back of the canvas. It’s a great option to put the date or place or occasion or even a title for the canvas, so you can always remember the when and where of your photo. Then just enter your shipping and billing info, and voilà, your new artwork is on its way. If you need help at all during the process, you can chat live with a customer service representative in a pop-up window, or you can call the toll free number to ask your questions over the phone. I called to ask about the name for my canvas, and I got my answer right away, without any waste of time waiting on hold.
A day or two after you place your order, you receive an email with the proof of your canvas for you to approve. The experts at CanvasHQ had touched up my photo for me, sharpening some of the details and evening out the colors. I approved my new and improved canvas and waited for it to arrive. I’m happy to report it arrived safe and sound a few days later and now I’m trying to decide the perfect spot in my house to display my new canvas masterpiece. And I was pleasantly surprised to find that the photo canvas actually came with everything you need to hang it on a wall. The hanging bracket was already in place on the back of the canvas. And in a little bag I found attached to the plastic wrap is a hook for the wall. Best of all, no tools were needed to hang my new masterpiece! Sadie and I think it looks great on the wall in our entryway!

We have canvasses in our bedroom of Chowski, my partner and I. I love the way canvas looks. It’s so much more homely than a photo behind glass and it really makes a statement piece. 🙂
I want more and more for around the house!

I have spots in my living room to hand this. Thanks!
It would be a canvas of our two dogs and it would go in my husbands office
This is a nice way to get your canvas photo. But I would like to know what the image resolution is required for the canvas. Is clicking the image with 10mp camera is enough for a canvas print?
I’m sure the support people at CanvasHQ would be able to tell you the preferred resolution depending on the size of the canvas. I know my camera has 12mp and the photo looks great on an 11×14 canvas.
We painted our living room and put in new, bamboo flooring last summer but my walls are still bare. I’d love to pick a design that I could use in the living room.
The powder room.
I would hang mine in the living room. Thanks for the giveaway.
I’d hang it in my office.
This is really awesome! I’d love to have a canvas photo hanging above my couch! It looks like they do a really great job.
