Sadie got into a little mischief in the hotel room at the BlogPaws conference. When my room service dinner came one night, my dog was naturally interested in the arrival of food. But when I flipped the cover off of my plate, Sadie got even more excited. But she wasn’t focused on my plate. Sadie was dancing around trying to get at the upside down plate cover. It took me a minute to realize that to doggy eyes my up-turned room service cover actually looked like a metal dog bowl. Sadie was barking at me and giving me sad puppy eyes to get her paws on the “bowl”, so I decided to humor her. We were on vacation after all. That night I fed Sadie her dinner in the room service plate cover and she loved every minute, and morsel, of it.

A food bowl with a leak!
That lid looks big enough to hold her in it!
The posh life is good until you get a food bowl with a hole in the bottom, haha! I’m sure that Sadie was able to gobble up anything that might have fallen through the hole. 🙂

That is adorable. I’m glad you understood what she wanted and humored her by feeding her in it.
