Halloween is the time of year when black cats take center stage as one of the most iconic symbols of the holiday. Sadie is getting into the spirit of the season this year by posing in her new black cat dress next to our new black cat yard decoration.

My Hungry, Hungry Hippo

I was going through some of Sadie’s costumes the other day and I found this hippo hat. I put the hat on Sadie and then gave her a new squeaky ball to play with. Eventually she brought the ball over to me to play catch and I couldn’t stop laughing. Sadie was lying down and every time I threw the ball she would simply stick her neck out to catch it in her mouth. It looked just like the board game Hungry, Hungry Hippos!
