An Orange and Black Tongue Out Tuesday
The Halloween decorations came out of storage last weekend. Of course Sadie wanted to investigate everything to make sure she approved. One particular storage bin, which I use as Sadie’s toy box during the Halloween season, immediately drew Sadie’s attention. Since she seemed to like it so much, I decided the orange and black chevron box would be the perfect place for Sadie to sit and stay out of trouble while the decorations were sorted. As you can see, Sadie greatly enjoyed her festive vantage point, where she happily watched all her humans run around decorating.

Orange Is the New Pink
As you all know, pink is Sadie’s favorite color. Yes, it’s my favorite color as well, but if you remember my post A Preference For Pink, Sadie clearly demonstrated that she likes pink herself. Anyway, like most people, Sadie has days where she just feels like trying something different. So on this particular day, Sadie decided that orange was the color of the day. Since it’s a great color for this time of year, I decided to indulge Sadie’s orange whim. She wore an orange dress, an orange collar, played with an orange ball, ate orange treats, and only posed for photos in front of orange backgrounds. This may sound silly, a dog choosing a specific color for the day, but you can see what I mean in the following photos. Sadie and I thoroughly enjoyed our orange day and I’m thinking we may try another color day sometime soon.
