If you just give me a minute or two to dig around, I can probably come up with a snack of some kind, a hairbrush, a deck of cards, a cell phone charger, and some post it notes. But being a Dog Mom means adding a whole\u00a0other set of necessities to my handbag. As much as I <em>want<\/em> to be prepared for anything I might need, I absolutely <em>must<\/em> be prepared for all of Sadie&#8217;s needs. Here\u00a0is a list of the typical items found in the purse of this loving Dog Mom.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Doggie bags (I just don&#8217;t like calling them poop bags)<\/li>\n<li>Collapsible food and water bowls<\/li>\n<li>Leash<\/li>\n<li>Puppy training pad in case of indoor emergencies<\/li>\n<li>Camera\u00a0to capture\u00a0any spontaneous cuteness (I know I don&#8217;t need to carry a camera anymore with high quality cell phone photos, but\u00a0I can&#8217;t\u00a0seem to break this habit)<\/li>\n<li>Squeaky ball<\/li>\n<li>Treats (usually the <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2f7MlrX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Busy Buddy Bristle Bone<\/a>* which works as a simultaneous treat and distraction)<\/li>\n<li>Baggie of dry food<\/li>\n<li>Veterinarian&#8217;s business card<\/li>\n<li>Dog comb \/ brush<\/li>\n<li>LED collar, in case we end up out walking after dark<\/li>\n<li>Spare ID tag, in case Sadie&#8217;s gets lost (I actually use an ID tag as one of my keychains, so I always have one on me)<\/li>\n<li>Folding rain coat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/sadiepurse1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8782\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8782\" src=\"http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sadiepurse1-1024x701.jpg\" alt=\"dogs, designer dogs, yorkipoo, yorkie poo, purse, Dog Mom\" width=\"640\" height=\"438\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sadiepurse1-1024x701.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sadiepurse1-500x342.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sadiepurse1-768x526.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sadiepurse1-600x411.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.yourdesignerdogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sadiepurse1-700x479.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It may seem like I have every dog product ever made inside my purse, but there are actually quite a few potentially useful items I&#8217;ve left out. I personally have decided not to carry the following items, but you may want them on hand in your purse for your dog. Some of the items may also be useful to take with you depending on where you and your dog are headed for the day. I regularly add and subtract items from my purse depending on Sadie&#8217;s and my destination.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Water bottle &#8211; a very important item in some climates and at certain times of year, but it&#8217;s usually too heavy for me to carry unless Sadie and I plan to go on a long walk. I usually have a bottle waiting in the car for us to rehydrate.
