In honor of the birthday of our first President, today I’m sharing some photos of a little trip Sadie and I took to the George Washington Bridge. On the New Jersey side there are a number of parks right at the foot of the bridge. At the top of the cliff, level with the bridge, is a park with an historic fort, which unfortunately is not dog friendly. But at the water level are a series of gorgeous parks with playgrounds, picnic areas, and marinas. Sadie and I chose to take a nice walk in one of the parks along the Hudson River, enjoying the beautiful views of the George Washington Bridge.

Great photos and a very scenic walk. Is Sadie wearing an ID badge instead of just a tag? How does she tolerate the badge? I’ve never seen one before.
What a fabulous photo shoot!!! <3
What a clever idea to visit the GW Bridge on President’s Day!! I love it. These photos are so beautiful, Sadie looks gorgeous and it’s so lovely with the bridge in the background.

Sadie is a perfect model for the camera, isn’t she? My golden retriever Savanna is camera-shy. Whenever she sees the cell phone camera pointed at her, she turns her head in the other direction. It’s really hard to get a good photo of her.
What a perfect spot! Beautiful photos!
Perfect day for a photo shoot. Look at all that light! And you seem to have a very willing model there. Hope plenty of cookies wrapped up the work!
