Sadie and I were taking a walk through the grounds of an historic mansion when we stumbled upon a patch of woods. Nestled among the trees we found this log cabin. It looked exactly like the quintessential house in the woods from fairytales. We sat down on the stone wall, enjoying the sun streaming through the trees, the leaves gently floating on the breeze, and the quiet beauty of the woods. It was such a magical place I could easily imagine Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, or maybe Hansel and Gretel coming out of the door at any second.

So pretty!!!
Forget those woods! I’m in love with your dress Ms. Sadie. You look absolutely adorable. You should be a model.
What a serene little spot. And you write so well. I almost felt like I was there… and I kinda wish I was! It’s so rainy and dark here these days. I could use some fall sunshine in my life, as could my dogs!

Oh my gosh that place looks amazing! I love finding little hidden spots like that and thinking of all the wonderful stories that could be made. Thank you for sharing it, and yes you really do write well.
