Last Friday I introduced you all to the ball pits I created earlier in the week for Sadie’s entertainment (Click here to read more about the ball pits). Since we continued to have cold, snowy, icy weather here all weekend, I spent some time playing with Sadie in her ball pits. She would let me know she was ready to play by sticking her head in the ball pit and pulling out whichever ball she was in the mood for. She would then lay the ball by my feet and go back to stand or sit in the ball pit. It was so cute watching her be all attentive and excited for me to throw the ball, I just couldn’t help taking a few photos during the games. Here are some of the highlights from the multiple games of catch we played:

Joyful – #52Snapshots
So I’ve tried all week to come up with some joyful photos of Sadie for this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life Challenge. She looked kinda happy when I gave her a treat. She looked more relieved than happy when I came home from the store. She looked temporarily happy when I gave her a new toy. But only one thing makes her face light up with pure joy – catching one of her little squeaky balls. Sorry if I sound like a broken record, always talking about her obsession with this toy, but I just want to give an honest idea of life here with Sadie. And in all honesty, playing catch and taking photos of Sadie everyday brings more joy to both our lives than anything else.

Gingerbread Catch
With the holiday season at an end, Sadie and I have been slowly working on putting away all of our Christmas decorations. I absolutely love decorating for the holidays, but I try to put off un-decorating for as long as possible. So in the spirit of procrastination, I decided Sadie should have one last hurrah before we put away her Gingerbread House. Here are some of the highlights from our game of Gingerbread catch:
