Today is National Teddy Bear Day and Sadie decided to dress up for the occasion. Who could resist some cuddles with cute little Teddy Bear Sadie?

Caturday Art on the School Bus
It’s back to school time again and for this piece of digital art Sadie is posing with the most iconic symbol of this time of year – the school bus. And it looks like Sadie feels the way many kids do on their first school bus rides – a bit uncomfortable and a bit unsure. I told Sadie she had nothing to worry about because kids always love her, but Sadie was still nervous. So I told her it was a fake school bus and she wasn’t really going anywhere. Once again Sadie acted like a kid on the first day of school – as soon as the door opened and Sadie got off the bus, she jumped around and did a happy dance to celebrate her freedom.

Caturday Art Hearts and Cubes
Today I tried out a cubist filter on some photos for Sadie’s Caturday Art post. I thought it was interesting that the heart never changes, but Sadie herself is turned into all kind of different boxes and cubes. Also I think her little tongue in the second photo is especially cute and kind of looks like origami.

I used an ice digital effect to create these two pieces. I love how smooth the lines are, like flowing water. I’m really enjoying participating in the Caturday art blog hop and getting the chance to be more creative on this blog.

Caturday Art #1
Sadie and I were inspired by Sadie’s recent pet portrait to try to be more artistic. So today we are joining the Caturday Art blog hop for the first time. For my first piece of Sadie art I have taken a photo with some lovely Spring flowers and attempted to digitally cartoonize the scene.
