Enjoying Memorial Day Weekend!
Sadie is busy enjoying the long Memorial Day weekend. She helped me put up some of our patriotic decorations to show our love and support for those who gave their lives for this country. But Sadie couldn’t resist a little silliness when she saw the feathers and flags headband in the box of stuff. Since Sadie took the headband out of the box herself, she was clearly asking for a patriotic Memorial Day weekend photo shoot.

Sadie had a wonderful birthday yesterday, and as the day ended I started taking down birthday decorations and putting up some patriotic decorations in honor of Memorial Day. Now that Sadie’s two, I guess she decided she was big enough to help me. As I was hanging red, white, and blue stars on the windows, Sadie grabbed a star in her mouth and ran out onto the deck. I guess she thought I needed more outdoor decorations. Of course I ran after her, and when I got outside, Sadie as wearing my tinsel star as a pretty patriotic necklace!
Hope everyone is having a relaxing, enjoyable Memorial Day weekend! Just remember to give thanks today to all the military men and women who serve and died serving the USA.
