Sadie is happy to be enjoying some little wildflowers during her evening walk. I know some people would consider them weeds, but to us they are cute little blossoms. When traditional flowers like tulips and daffodils are taller than you, it’s not hard to understand why my little dog would enjoy some little flowers. (Click here to see my little Sadie with some pretty tall tulips!)
Sadie found some wildflowers during a nice walk in the park. Am I a bad Mom for always laughing when I watch Sadie next to flowers? She tries to sniff them, but she can’t because most flowers are taller than her. The mushrooms were not actually there, just part of the digital effect. I don’t think I’d let her get that close to real mushrooms. They make me nervous since I can’t tell which ones are poisonous. But I liked the whimsical fairy meadow feel they brought to this picture.

Clearly I wasn’t paying enough attention when taking photos of Sadie after her grooming visit this weekend. It was hot and sunny, the ground was full of sharp, pointy rocks, there were bees, excuses, excuses. Honestly I was just being impatient and trying to snap a quick photo. But as usual, if I try to do something quickly, it just takes longer to correct all of my mistakes in the end. It took me over twenty five tries before I finally positioned myself, the camera, and Sadie correctly to get the above photo. Here are six of my first attempts, which I find funny because they are so bad, followed by two photos that actually turned out pretty well.
